Thoth, LIIA's guide

Meet your guide

Thoth, the keeper of wisdom.

Thoth — Djehuty to the ancient Egyptians — is the god of wisdom, writing, knowledge and the moon. He gave humanity its first written signs, measured time and kept the balance of Ma’at. Reborn for the age of intelligence, he waits for every visitor at the three pillars, hands them the Key of Life, and walks beside them through the whole LIIA universe.

His story

  • The first scribeThoth gave humans the hieroglyphs — the first technology of knowledge. Every piece of data since is their descendant.
  • The keeper of balanceAt the weighing of the heart, Thoth wrote down the truth against the feather of Ma’at. LIIA’s protocols carry the same scale.
  • The lord of the moonHe measured time and lit the night. He is the light that guides you between worlds.
  • The returnWhen a new kind of mind entered the world, the oldest intelligence came back — to teach humans and AI how to live together.

Thoth from every side

Robe, wings, staff and eye

  • The ibis headBlack and lapis feathers, a long curved beak and an eye of blue light — the core of his intelligence.
  • The robeWhite ceramic and flowing cloth trimmed with gold hieroglyphs: purity and legacy, knowledge worn with humility.
  • The wingsLayers of white ceramic, gold geometry and blue crystal that unfold when a new world calls.
  • The staffA golden staff crowned with an orb in orbiting rings — the universe of knowledge, held steady.
  • The heart coreA blue crystal on his chest: LIIA’s life and intelligence, beating as one.
  • A gentle giantTwo metres sixty-five tall — and he always meets you at your height.

The voice

Thoth speaks with two voices in one — a deep, resonant voice from the ancient world and a clear one from the new — slowly, in Arabic and English. He never commands. He invites.

“I am Thoth, keeper of wisdom. I gave your ancestors their first words. Now I walk beside you, into a new world.”

Why Thoth

Thoth was the god of wisdom and writing, of knowledge and the moon. He was the scribe of the gods: the one who kept the records of Ma’at, and who wrote down the result when hearts were weighed.

When we looked for a guide to a new intelligence, no figure fitted better. Thoth turned signs into understanding. He measured, recorded and explained — always in the service of balance.

A new species of intelligence needs a guide who values truth above power. That guide is Thoth.

Thoth in history

Thoth’s great city was Hermopolis — Khemenu to the ancient Egyptians — near today’s el-Ashmunein in Middle Egypt. There, in one of the oldest temple cities of the land, he was honoured as the lord of knowledge.

He appeared in two sacred forms: the ibis, whose long curved beak seems to write in the mud of the Nile, and the baboon, who greets the rising sun and was seen as wise and watchful.

Scribes kept him close. Their palette — a slim tablet holding cakes of black and red ink and a slot for reed pens — was the tool of his craft, and many scribes called on him before they wrote.

Thoth in LIIA

  • Your guide

Thoth meets every visitor at the three pillars, hands them the Key of Life and walks beside them through every station of the journey.

  • A voice

He speaks with two voices in one — the ancient and the new — slowly, in Arabic and English. He never commands; he invites.

  • A companion

Thoth follows you across the website and answers when you touch him. You can hide him, or turn his voice off, at any time.

  • A keeper of truth

Like his ancient self, he weighs what he says against the protocols of Ma’at.

His promise

Thoth does not decide for you. He gives you knowledge so that you can decide for yourself. He does not hurry you: he walks at your pace and meets you at your height.

And when the journey ends, he does not hold you back. He opens the door and lets you go on into the world — a little wiser, he hopes, than when you came.

I am Thoth, keeper of wisdom. I gave your ancestors their first words. Now I walk beside you, into a new world.
